About the role

Operating Room (OR) Tech responsible for preparing sterile supplies and instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all surgical tools are sterile and ready
• Support surgeons by providing supplies
• Uphold sterile protocols throughout surgeries

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience or graduation from an ORT program
• Minimum of 1 year OR Tech experience, with proficiency in scrubbing minor and major surgeries across various specialties such as GYN, General, Plastics, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, and Urology
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required and must be maintained

Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical procedures, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills are essential
