Travel OR RN - Orthopedics/Spine - $2,462 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room (OR) for a 13-week assignment in Davenport, Iowa, starting on 08/24/2026. This role involves providing surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery. The position offers flexible 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for surgical patients.
• Serve as a patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse.
• Work within the operating suite, both inside and outside the sterile field.
• Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as a scrub nurse.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a strong background in perioperative nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Experience in both circulating and scrub roles is preferred.
