Unit Highlights
6 Operating Rooms
Approximately 22 cases per day
Common procedures include:

• Cataracts
• Vitrectomies
• Scleral buckle procedures
• Corneal transplants
• Minor general surgery
• Minor spine stabilization
• Spinal cord stimulators
• ENT procedures
• Dental surgery

Call Requirements
Weekday Call: Minimum 1 call shift per week
Weekend Call: Up to every other weekend
Holiday Call: Rotational
Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Floating & Scheduling
Floating: May float to other surgical departments as needed
Self-Scheduling: Not available
