Travel OR RN

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and sterilizing the operating room with necessary instruments and supplies
• Assisting in patient positioning and ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintaining sterile fields and adhering to infection control protocols
• Supporting the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies promptly
• Monitoring patient condition and documenting perioperative care
• Handling specimen collection, labeling, and transport
• Participating in patient handoff and ensuring continuity of care
• Cleaning and restocking the OR between cases
• Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with policies and safety standards

Qualifications And Skills

• One year of recent OR RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist in procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activity

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certifications
• OR Nursing Certification (CNOR)
