Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to provide comprehensive perioperative patient care in a surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready and sterile
• Aiding in patient positioning, ensuring safety and comfort
• Maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols
• Serving as a member of the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and support
• Monitoring patient condition, documenting changes, and assisting with specimen handling
• Participating in patient handoffs and cleaning/restocking the OR between cases
• Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures
• Performing other duties within scope of practice as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent OR RN experience (minimum one year)
• Valid RN license and BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and move within the OR setting
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS
• PALS
• ENPC
• CNOR
