About the role

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in scrub and circulate functions. The ideal candidate will excel in a level 1 trauma center environment, demonstrating strong trauma skills and proficiency in various surgical specialties including orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique.
• Monitor patient stability and provide critical care pre, during, and post-operation.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Float to alternate campuses as necessary based on staffing needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operating room nursing preferred.
• Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license.
• BLS certification required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience with scrub and circulate roles in ortho trauma, spine, and neuro surgeries highly preferred.
• Familiarity with robotic surgery systems (Xi, SP, DaVinci) is a plus.

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
