We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a full spectrum of surgical services, including elective and life-saving procedures across various specialties.

Schedule

10-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with non‑consecutive working days and random days off Monday‑Friday. Weekend on‑call requirements include one weeknight of call each week from 7 PM to 11 PM and one weekend on‑call duty per month, rotating between: Friday‑Sunday 7 PM‑7 AM, and Saturday‑Sunday 7 AM‑7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols
• Monitoring patient vitals and responding to any changes during procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo‑Vascular, Urology, or OB preferred
• Current Michigan nursing license verification required
• BLS certification from AHA mandatory

Attendance Policy

The organization has implemented a strict 3‑strike attendance policy to ensure high standards of patient care. Any nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift or arrives more than 20 minutes late three times will face immediate termination. Exceptions for communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably.
