Travel OR RN - $2,688 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 14, 2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room (scrub experience preferred)
• Perform a wide range of OR procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy
  • Abdominoplasty
  • ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion)
  • Anterior cervical fusion
  • General OR procedures
  • Robotics-assisted surgeries
  • Trauma cases
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as required
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of OR experience
• Trauma Level I experience (required; HARD STOP)
• Well-rounded OR RN experience, current in most areas except CV & Transplant
• At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience if screened more than 2 years ago
• Minimum of 18 months of experience (exceptions possible depending on the unit)
• Pending, compact, or temporary Indiana license accepted at time of start
• Two supervisor references required

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required

Education

Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.

Skills

• Competence in general OR procedures, robotics, and trauma cases
• Experience with a variety of surgical specialties

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
