About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a Hospital contract in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position will start on September 14, 2026, last for 13 weeks, and work 36 hours per week with a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

  • Scrub and circulate in the operating room, supporting surgical procedures across various specialties including vascular, neuro, ortho, trauma, urology, general surgery, and level 2 trauma cases.
  • Proficient in robotics (urology) and familiar with Epic charting system.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including trauma certification (attended trauma class and certification or TNCC).
  • Experience with Neuro, Orthopedic, Trauma, Endovascular, Open vascular, Podiatry, OMFS, and Podiatry cases preferred.
  • Provide excellent patient care and maintain sterile environment during surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams, assist with instrument management, and monitor patient status.
  • Charge nurse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Pulmonary experience (e.g., bronchoscopies, EBUS) is a plus but not critical.
  • Be available to work scheduled shift, with optional pick-up for travelers.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in trauma cases.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system.

Qualifications

Pay

The pay range for this position is $61.40 - $64.47 per hour, subject to confirmation.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 19:00 - 07:30.
