About the role
We're looking for an experienced Cath Lab RN to join a collaborative cardiovascular team in Martinsburg, West Virginia. If you're comfortable with interventional cardiac procedures, call responsibilities, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Participate in interventional cardiac procedures
- Respond to call responsibilities (weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation with a 30-minute response time)
- Work in 2 Cath Labs with 7 procedure/holding suites, averaging 4–5 adult cardiac cases per day, including:
- Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Caths
- PCI
- Peripheral Vascular Procedures
- Pacemakers & ICDs
- Use EPIC/Cupid charting with Xper imaging system
- Work alongside a dedicated 3-person Cath Lab team (2 RNs + 1 Tech)
- Complete two shifts of unit orientation followed by a buddy-call experience
- May occasionally float to Non-Invasive Cardiology to assist with IV starts
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Active West Virginia RN License
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Experience with IABP and IVUS
- ACIST injector experience is a plus (training available if needed)
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Active, unexpured driver's license required
- Background or license issues must be disclosed at submission
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
- Candidates may only be submitted to one WVU position at a time
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weeknight call: 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend and holiday call rotation
