About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Schedule
- Weekday-only position with four 10-hour shifts from 12 PM to 10 PM
- No weekends or holidays required
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week duration
Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including IV insertion and patient education
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure all necessary documentation is complete
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Manage a caseload of 55-70 patients per day
- Participate in charge nurse or house supervisor roles as needed
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- BLS certification
- IV skills and knowledge of surgical care protocols
- Experience with surgical robotics preferred
