About the role

The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality surgical care in a Level I Trauma Center. The nurse will circulate independently in the operating room and will be involved in a variety of surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Robotics, among others. The role requires strong experience in an ambulatory setting for optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room and support surgical procedures across various specialties.
• Ensure proper patient care and safety during surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare staff as necessary.
• Participate in the orientation process of new staff as needed.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Previous experience circulating in an operating room setting is required.
• Ability to scrub for cases is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must possess a valid nursing license to practice.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, days
• No weekends or call
