Travel OR RN - $2,519 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

About the Role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 14, 2026, with a schedule of 10-hour evening shifts and a total of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Circulate various surgical cases independently, including but not limited to:
• DaVinci robotics
• Orthopedic procedures (Total Joints and Spine)
• General surgery
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of recent experience in OR / Operating Room
• Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license at time of submission
• Travel experience within the previous 15 months
• Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Scrub experience (nice to have)
• Experience with Mako equipment (highly preferred – used in 80% of total joints cases)
• Experience with Rosa equipment (highly preferred – used in 80% of total joints cases)

Documentation Requirements

• Work history/resume with 24 months of current operating room experience
• Skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse/RN
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months (preferred)
• Driver’s License

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
