About the role

Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room position in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Specialty: OR - Operating Room. This is a Level I Trauma Operating Room assignment. Start date: November 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour shifts). Shift: Day shift. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control practices are adhered to.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to facilitate efficient operating room procedures.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in a Level I Trauma Operating Room.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PA or compact nursing license required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
• Previous charge experience and trauma level experience are highly beneficial.
