Travel OR RN - $2,418 per week

About the role

We're looking for Ambulatory Surgery Center RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Marshfield, WI. The right RN should have 1–2 years' recent acute care experience. As an Ambulatory Surgery Center RN, you will work in a comprehensive practice requiring broad knowledge of nursing and clinical expertise surrounding intra‑operative care. Many of the procedures are performed as same‑day and the patients go home the same day.

Responsibilities

• Admit patient to the ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate OR operations.
• Document patient care services by charting in specific computer charting systems.
• Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answer patients' questions.
• Review post‑retrieval and post‑transfer instructions with patients.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Possess good stress management skills and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 2 years of recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
