Travel OR RN - $2,418 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This is a 13-week contract position with day shifts and varied weekly schedules.

Schedule

• Day shifts: Varied shifts weekly with guaranteed hours of 36
• Weekend hours: Every other weekend or as needed
• Call requirements: One to two times per week in 8-hour increments

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating room
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the perioperative period
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Administer medications and maintain patient records accurately
• Collaborate with the surgical team to implement care plans effectively

Requirements

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• 1-2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred
• Charge experience and level 1 trauma experience is advantageous
