Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care as a circulating or scrub nurse in the operating room
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Use advanced medical technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (new hires can obtain during introductory period)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (new hires can obtain during introductory period)
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Social Security Number required
• Date of Birth required
• 1 reference from entire work history

Pay

Pay rate: $2227.00 - $2341.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
