About the Role

Level 1 Trauma Center Teaching Hospital seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Perioperative/Operating Room unit. This position involves caring for patients in surgical and step-down settings, with a focus on post-operative care, surgical transplant patients, and close monitoring for reactions, rejections, and infections.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients post-operatively, including those with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT, or DHT
• Monitor step-down patients requiring close observation
• Provide care for surgical transplant patients (new and returning), monitoring for reaction, rejection, and infection
• Manage patient ratios: 5:1 for surgical patients, 3:1 for step-down area

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• OR - Operating Room experience
• Med Surg experience
• Trauma level must be listed on each position when submitting, as well as whether the experience was Perm or Travel
• References: 1 reference in entire work history
• SSN and DOB required

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• ENT and/or Transplant Experience

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts
• Start Date: 9/7/2026

Pay

• Pay Rate: $2018.00 - $2122.00
