About the role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Room for our surgical unit in McKinney, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7PM - 7AM, Thursday to Saturday, including a call requirement of one day a week and one weekend a month.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in various surgical procedures including orthopedic, neuro, general, trauma, and urology.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to their needs during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Operating Room.
• Neuro and ortho/spine experience required.
• Current BLS certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts, nights (7PM - 7AM).
• Thursday to Saturday with a call requirement of one day a week and one weekend a month.
