About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position for an Ambulatory OR Registered Nurse in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in an operating room setting, collaborating with surgical teams, and assisting in various surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Schedule
- Day shift: 4x10 hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM) or 3x12 hours (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM) with one late week per four weeks to complete cases.
- No weekends required.
- No on-call required.
- 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide necessary interventions during surgeries.
- Maintain a sterile field and assist in the cleanup and organization of the operating room.
- Precept care team members and provide guidance in the operating room.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ambulatory or operating room setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active South Carolina RN License or multi-state/compact license.
- Experience preferred in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology.
- Radiation badge mandatory (provided by the agency).

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
