Responsibilities

• Consult with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Utilize machines to measure a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, blood oxygen levels, and electrocardiogram information.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions to medications in accordance with policies.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments of patients.
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member.
• Maintain and interpret specialized equipment used on patients and its electronic displays.
