Responsibilities
Neuro Nurses (RN) treat patients with neurological injuries and disorders, including head and spinal trauma from accidents, or illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.
- Perform typical procedures to help patients recover behavioral, physical, and cognitive abilities
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Exhibit a high level of patience and sensitivity, as patients mentally function on different levels
