Travel Operating Room Technologist - $2,170 per week

About the role

Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician in Fargo, North Dakota. This position supports surgical teams in providing effective care across orthopedic, ear, nose, and throat, plastic surgery, general, and trauma procedures. The role requires experience in a busy acute care setting, robotics, and surgical equipment systems, along with availability for 10-hour day shifts and scheduled call coverage. Primary procedures include orthopedic, plastic surgery, and adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat procedures, with some trauma cases. The department includes 25 operating room suites and averages 75 to 100 cases per day. Scrub attire is provided in ceil blue.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and operating room responsibilities according to established policies and procedures
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare team members during procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in general surgery, including ear, nose, and throat, orthopedic, and neurological procedures
• Experience in a large hospital or busy acute care facility with more than 15 operating room suites
• Level I trauma experience
• Robotics experience
• Experience with at least one of the following surgical systems: Zimmer, DePuy, Biomet, or Stryker
• North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry enrollment at least one week before the start date

Schedule

Day shifts consisting of 10 hours, 40 hours per week; scheduled call coverage 1 to 2 days per week and every 3 to 4 weeks, with occasional need to remain late for cases.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
