Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for an assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. The role is a 13‑week travel assignment beginning 10/12/2026 and ending 01/11/2027, requiring 40 hours per week on a days shift (8‑hour days). The position offers flexible start and end times, with shift scheduling determined during the interview process. The organization is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for an assignment in the operating room environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting surgical teams with instrumentation and assisting with operative procedures. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing multiple specialties including orthopedics, neuro, and vascular surgeries.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred (not mandatory)
• Extensive experience in current operative environments
• Proficiency handling instruments and maintaining sterile fields
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes of notification
• Availability for approximately every fifth weekend as a call weekend (1‑2 calls per week)
• Willingness to participate in holiday call rotation as needed
• Ability to comply with the facility’s right to cancel up to 36 hours within the 13‑week contract
• Disclose all requested time off at submission and include in confirmation documentation

Schedule
