Travel Operating Room RN - $2,736 per week

Operating Room Registered Nurse position with 40 hours per week, rotating days, evenings, and weekends.

Unit is Level III Trauma OR in a complex community setting. Patient population includes Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients.

Job Requirements

• Massachusetts RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from AHA only (Salem Hospital accepts only AHA BLS).
• 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Experience with Mako and Davinci systems preferred.
• BSN and CNOR preferred.
• Scrub experience preferred.

Schedule Information

• 40 hours per week.
• Rotating days, evenings (1pm-11:30pm), and weekends.
• 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule.
• 1-2 rotations to evenings per 4-week schedule.
• On call required: 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule, 1-2 weekend calls per 4-week schedule.
• Weekend shift includes call from 5:30pm to 11pm after shift ends.

Unit Specific Information

• Level III Trauma OR.
• Patient population includes Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric.
• Clinician to patient ratio is 1:1.
• BED count is 15.
• Census approximately 30-40 patients per day.
• Experience with Mako and Davinci systems required.
• Basic aseptic technique and multispecialty competence required.
• Floating not required.
• Rotating shifts and on call required.
