Travel Operating Room RN - $2,517 per week

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Provides surgical care to patients with various disease processes including orthopedic surgery, general surgery, plastics, and urology.
• Works in a unit with 6 operating room suites, 1 endoscopy suite, and 1 special procedures suite.
• Engages in 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with variable days and times.
• Participates in weekday, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities.
• Utilizes cyclic and self-scheduling methods.

Requirements

• Current BLS AHA certification required.
• ACLS certification required for RNs.
• Extensive orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in operating room settings.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage shift changes and call schedules.

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts with variable days and times. Weekday call, weekend call, and holiday call are part of the expectation. Cyclic and self-scheduling are utilized.
