About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Mason City, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Operate as part of the surgical team, providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment according to sterile technique.
- Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
- Work as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse, depending on the facility’s needs.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the perioperative process.
Requirements
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
- Active RN License.
- BLS & ACLS Certifications.
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in an OR setting.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, days shift.
