Travel Operating Room RN - $2,407 per week
About the role
The Great Hospital in Denver, Colorado is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room position. This role requires a strong background in orthopedics, trauma, and neurology, with experience in reimplantations, craniotomies, and other non-cardiac, non-transplant surgeries. Night shifts are mandatory, and the assignment is for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of experienced surgeons
- Assist with anesthesia management and patient monitoring
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of operating room experience
- Experience with complex surgical procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with Level 1 Trauma experience and strong orthopedic, trauma, and neurology expertise.
