About the role
Rutherford Regional Medical Center, a part of Duke LifePoint Hospitals, is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room (OR) department.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in the operating room preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel within the United States.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in operating room equipment and procedures.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long and occur every other day, with a 24-hour rest period between shifts.

$48.00 per hour
