Travel Operating Room RN - $1,901 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Washington, Missouri.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel assignment starting on July 27, 2026. The role is for an Ambulatory Surgery RN with critical care, pre-op, and PACU experience.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active Missouri RN licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• 2+ years of experience in the specialty

Responsibilities

• Involve patients and/or significant others in care decisions
• Assess and document educational needs and learning abilities of patients and families during admission and subsequent assessments
• Document plan of care, including identified problems, nursing diagnosis, interventions, and goals with target dates
• Perform patient hand-offs using safety tools (SBAR, Report at Bedside, etc.)
• Maintain effective communication through the chain of command
• Communicate subjective and objective patient data to appropriate team members
• Stay updated on unit communications (huddles, emails, etc.)
• Facilitate communication of pertinent findings with physicians and participate in rounds
• Participate in process improvement activities (data collection, in-services, meetings as needed)
