Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Washington, Missouri.
About the Role
This is a 13-week travel assignment starting on July 27, 2026. The role is for an Ambulatory Surgery RN with critical care, pre-op, and PACU experience.
Schedule
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Active Missouri RN licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- 2+ years of experience in the specialty
Responsibilities
- Involve patients and/or significant others in care decisions
- Assess and document educational needs and learning abilities of patients and families during admission and subsequent assessments
- Document plan of care, including identified problems, nursing diagnosis, interventions, and goals with target dates
- Perform patient hand-offs using safety tools (SBAR, Report at Bedside, etc.)
- Maintain effective communication through the chain of command
- Communicate subjective and objective patient data to appropriate team members
- Stay updated on unit communications (huddles, emails, etc.)
- Facilitate communication of pertinent findings with physicians and participate in rounds
- Participate in process improvement activities (data collection, in-services, meetings as needed)
