About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Shock Trauma OR RN with experience in circulating and scrub roles for our surgical department. The ideal candidate will manage patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment, supporting various surgical procedures with a focus on trauma cases.
Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, primarily trauma-related.
- Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and protocols.
- Assist the surgical team during operations and maintain a safe environment.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care within a trauma setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an operating room setting.
- Active MD RN license and BLS certification are required; CNOR certification is preferred.
- Experience in Trauma Level II hospitals is required, and Trauma Level I experience is preferred.
- Background in circulating and scrubbing essential surgical practices.
Qualifications
- Preferred: CNOR certification.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
