Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,730 per week

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position located within a healthcare organization. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various surgical procedures
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols during shifts
• Interpret lethal dysrhythmias
• Assume charge nurse, preceptor, or leadership roles as required
• Assist with patient mobilization using lifts
• Function well under stress with strong problem-solving skills
• Work within a 100-mile radius rule and adhere to shift schedule

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Minimum of 0 years of experience
• Familiarity with clinical equipment and instrumentation used in operating rooms
• Strong leadership skills with potential to assume charge nurse responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to recognize safety issues and assess patient needs in clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual domains

Schedule

• 13-week assignment: 09/14/2026 to 12/16/2026
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call duties required (30-minute response time)
