Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,690 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse needed in Schenectady, New York. This position involves working day shifts with a schedule of 10 hours per shift, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The role includes periodically floating to various units within the nurse’s competencies. Orientation occurs once a month, and all travelers are expected to float as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple specialties including general, orthopedic, bariatric, vascular, endovascular, plastics, urology, robotic gynecology, dental, and podiatry procedures
• Operate Xi DAvinci robots
• Float to various units as required
• Work one weekend per month (no call duties)

Requirements

• Valid New York State nursing license
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of OR experience
• Experience with Xi DAvinci robots
• Comfortable working in general, orthopedic, bariatric, vascular, endovascular, plastics, urology, robotic gynecology, dental, and podiatry procedures

• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Minimum hours per week: 40
• No block scheduling; one weekend per month required
• Request for Time Off (RTO) offered for 4 days or less (no holiday RTO permitted)
