Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,655 per week

About the role

Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Location: Encompassing the healthcare provider's facility, this role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a busy, level 1 trauma, academic medical center. The OR nurse will participate in surgical procedures across a variety of specialties, supporting multiple service lines with a high level of clinical expertise and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a level 1 trauma academic medical center.
• Participate in surgical procedures across multiple specialties (orthopedic, neuro, plastics/burn, general/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, transplant).
• Function as scrub or circulate OR nurse; candidates who only circulate are also accepted.
• Float across service lines including pediatrics and ophthalmology for off‑shift (evenings, nights, weekends) shifts.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure, relevant nursing education, and required certifications.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a level 1 trauma academic medical center setting.
• Proven experience in a high‑acuity, trauma setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive experience across multiple surgical specialties: orthopedic (joint and trauma), neuro (craniotomy and spine), plastics/burn, general/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular (CV), thoracic, vascular, and transplant.

Schedule

Day shift, 10‑hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
