Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,620 per week

Job Summary

Operating Room Nurse role involving demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care within the operating room setting. The nurse collaborates with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to provide high-quality patient care according to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplies and timeliness of cases
• Communicate with families
• Update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist during surgeries
• Supervise personnel

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years recent operating room registered nurse experience in a hospital setting
• Specific experience in OR Circulator and Endoscopy
• Must possess an Alabama RN or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume)
• Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission packet)

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
• Call required 7 days per month, including one weekend
• Call hours: 3 pm to 6:30 am
