Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,375 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a busy healthcare facility. This role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities in a high-volume surgical environment, supporting various service lines including trauma, neurology, orthopedics, and robotics. The position requires flexibility with rotating shifts and exposure to complex procedures, with an emphasis on teamwork in a Level I trauma setting.
Responsibilities
- Circulating and scrub duties in a high-volume surgical environment
- Support various service lines including trauma, neurology, orthopedics, and robotics
- Work rotating shifts in a Level I trauma setting
- Work across multiple campuses with the possibility of floating as needed
- Available for orientation on 09/08/2026 and 09/14/2026
- Work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Weekend on-call from end of shift on Friday until 6:30 am Monday
Requirements
- 24 months of current operating room experience (hospital/medical center experience preferred)
- Circulating or scrub nurse experience
- Active Iowa (IA) license or multistate license at the time of submission
- BLS (AHA) certification
- EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years
Qualifications
- Experience in general, DaVinci robotics, pediatrics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, vascular
- Trauma level I experience highly preferred
- Trauma level II experience required
Schedule
- Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start date: 09/08/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
