Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,375 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role involves providing preoperative and surgical care within a surgical center setting. The candidate will support the surgical team in various procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to facility protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative and surgical care in an operating room environment.
- Support the surgical team in various procedures, including robotics and trauma care.
- Scrub for surgical procedures as required.
- Float to OR holding area as needed.
- Adhere to facility protocols and ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or OR setting.
- Valid nursing license; willingness to wait for license submission.
- Location in or ability to work within Wheeling, West Virginia.
- Unexpired driver’s license (copy required at submission).
- Disclose any licensing hits at the time of submission.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of surgical procedures including robotics and IV skills.
- Scrubbing experience.
- Familiarity with Sunrise EMR (current) and EPIC (upcoming go-live on April 1).
- Experience in acute care or trauma environments (preferred).
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026.
- 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts).
- Shifts may include days, afternoons, or midnights based on department needs.
- One scheduled weekend day and one second-call weekend day every four-week schedule.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
