Operating Room Nurse Specialist in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves applying nursing processes to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room. The selected candidate will ensure accurate documentation, contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans, administer clinical interventions, and assess patient responses. Additionally, responsibilities include assigning and evaluating work performed by non-nursing team members in the surgical environment.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per shift (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration starting 09/07/2026
• On-call and holiday responsibilities as needed

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing processes to provide high-quality care to surgical patients
• Ensure accurate documentation
• Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment plans
• Administer clinical interventions and assess patient responses
• Assign and evaluate work performed by non-nursing team members in the surgical environment

Requirements

• ASN degree (BSN preferred)
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (AHA) certification
• PALS certification
• Level I Trauma experience
• Scrub experience
• Proficiency in endovascular, spine, neuro, ortho, and ortho trauma procedures
