Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,310 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and operates from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On-call requirements are also part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Current RN license in Alaska
• Experience in orthopedics, neurology, and/or related specialties preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Da Vinci XI, Vascular, ENT, General, and CV surgery

Pay

The estimated pay package is based on bill rate at the time the job was posted. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long, Monday through Friday, with days starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 7:00 PM. On-call requirements apply, with approximately 4-5 shifts per 4 weeks.
