This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. The role includes working in a fast-paced environment supporting various surgical specialties, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes. Job Details Location: Martinsburg, WV Schedule: 12-hour shifts, primarily day/evening; flexible with start times including 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 3:00 PM, 11:00 AM, and 11:00 PM shifts. Shifts are full-time with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA); valid license to practice as a registered nurse (RN). A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room specialty, with experience passing arms in and out for Robotics. Prior travel assignment experience of 2-3 roles is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with all specialties for evening/night shifts; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system proficiency; OR experience with neuro spine, burr holes, VP shunts, discectomy, fusions, hip, knee surgeries, trauma, vascular procedures including AV fistulas and angiograms. Additional Information: The OR team is predominantly composed of travel nurses. Orientation includes 3 shifts over one week. Scrubs are provided. The unit operates with varied block scheduling options and requires on-call rotations, including weeknights and weekends. Call response time is 30 minutes, with accommodations for those living farther than 30 minutes from the facility. Floating to outpatient surgery may be required. Note: Do not have aids or housekeeping; techs are responsible for room turnover. Must be comfortable circulating cases and working with minimal experience in certain service lines if applicable.
