Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,225 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN – Operating Room position in Rochester, New York. Specialty: OR – Operating Room; Discipline: RN. Start date: 10/12/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; Employment type: Travel. The OR serves a diverse patient population with specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral‑maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). The facility utilizes two DaVinci robots across services and runs a transplant program for livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the OR.
• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• RN License (New York state only).
• Minimum two (2) years of operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center.
• Ability to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
• Telemetry experience highly desired.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association only) required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts, flexible scheduling; 36 hours per week; D/E/N rotating shift schedule with on‑call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends as unit needs require.
