Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,150 per week
Operating Room (OR) Nurse opportunity in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves circulating duties within the surgical environment, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel to provide safe and effective patient care. The position requires critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards, with responsibilities including equipment preparation, case coordination, and assisting during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform circulating duties in the operating room
- Coordinate surgical cases and prepare equipment
- Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR personnel during procedures
- Adhere to regulatory standards and ensure patient safety
- Participate in call rotation and holiday requirements
- Float to Madill location and surgery units as needed
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- 2+ years of OR experience
- Certifications in operating room nursing
- Experience with Cerner and Surginet Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with surgical scheduling and readiness
- Experience in a surgical environment involving Endoscopy
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8 hours, days (6:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Call rotation and holiday requirements
