Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,016 per week

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Loxahatchee, Florida. This position requires 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laparoscopic, robotic, plastic, neuro, urology, ortho, ENT, and laparotomy procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and coordinate with surgical teams to support high-quality care using OR equipment.
• Maintain strict documentation using Meditech system and adhere to sterile protocols.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an RN.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• OR experience or StarRN certification.
• Valid RN license in Florida.
• Willingness to obtain Florida licensure if not already licensed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must have OR experience or StarRN certification.

Pay

The pay range is discussed with the recruiter. The contract length is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. There is a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
