Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse - $2,010 per week

About the Role

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing assignment in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves providing scrubbing and circulating duties for operative procedures in a hospital operating room. The nurse will prepare the surgical environment, assemble and ensure functionality of equipment and supplies, and serve as a communication liaison with patients, families, and the operating team. The position supports various surgical specialties in a dynamic environment.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Call responsibilities: 5 shifts on a Monday through Friday basis (5:00 PM – 6:30 AM) over a 6-week period
• 3 weekend day shifts (Saturday or Sunday 24-hour shifts) in the same 6-week period

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standards and aseptic techniques
• Assess and plan intraoperative patient care
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for surgical procedures
• Prepare the surgical environment
• Assemble and ensure functionality of equipment and supplies
• Serve as a communication liaison with patients, families, and the operating team

Requirements

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state/district
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room with various specialties
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN highly desired

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
