About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment starting August 7, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Performing surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assisting with preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Maintaining sterile field and following aseptic technique
- Communicating effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passionate about travel nursing and making a difference
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to various locations within Ohio
