Travel Operating Room First Assist - $2,192 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist in various surgical procedures in the Operating Room. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, assisting the surgical team, and providing high-quality care to patients during their surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, GYN, general, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
• Ensure the proper functioning of surgical instruments and equipment, including multiple robotic systems.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to safety protocols throughout the surgical process.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in the Cerner system.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a focus on a variety of specialized surgical fields.
• Advanced skills in assisting with Ortho trauma, spine, neuro, GYN, general, robotics, and vascular surgeries.
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability for on-call duties as required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
