Travel Open Heart PCU RN - $2,512 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The assignment starts October 15, 2026, lasts approximately 13 weeks (13.14 weeks noted), requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel‑employment position.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Chest tube insertion assistance, management, and removal experience.
• Central line experience required.
• External/internal pacemakers and wound vacs experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); PALS if required by the unit.
• Valid WV RN license or compact license; pending license accepted for submission.
• Two manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years.
• Permanent address at least 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75‑100 miles considered case‑by‑case).
• COVID‑19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only.
• Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.

Qualifications

• Preferred: previous charge experience.
• Preferred: Trauma Level I & II experience.
• Preferred: Community hospital experience.
• Preferred: LTAC experience.
• Preferred: Charting system experience.
• Technical skill: Cerner charting.
• Leadership experience: previous charge experience preferred.
