About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The assignment starts on 09/20/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week. The shift is 12‑hour nights (19:00–07:00), and the nurse may be required to work days and mids as needed. As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry unit, you will provide high‑quality care for patients with cardiac conditions, monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care. The ideal candidate should have cardiac cath experience, be adaptable to various shift times, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in cardiac telemetry.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of cardiac common diagnoses and treatments.
• Cardiac cath experience preferred.
• Adaptable to various shift times.
• Positive attitude.
