MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a 13‑week assignment in New Brunswick, New Jersey, starting October 5, 2026. The position is for a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, offering travel nursing opportunities with a top healthcare client.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their condition, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal in managing disease and treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and create a supportive environment.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care oncology setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Schedule

• 12‑hour shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
