MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Richmond, Virginia. The assignment starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts (days or nights).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
• Assist patients ranging from post‑surgical to near‑terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
• Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures and particularities of the disease.
• Administer chemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment and monitor patients' progress.
• Create a supportive environment for patients.
• May opt to specialize in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
